THE DECLINE’s new album FLASH GORDON RAMSAY STREET out today

FLASH GORDON RAMSAY STREET ALBUM OUT NOW, TOUR DATES KICK OFF NEXT MONTH

Perth-based skate punk monsters The Decline today have released their album “Flash Gordon Ramsay Street” into the world – featuring their pop-punk animal rights anthem “Brovine” and Tony Hawk Pro Skater inspired track love song “It Was Always You“. It’s available now through Pee Records and digitally at https://ffm.to/thedecline_fgrs – oh, and they are bringing it all around Australia in September and October!

The album has turned a lot of heads – from a tonne of spins on triple j’s Short Fast Loud and on The Faction, a full album stream premiere at Punk Rock Theory as well as Track of the Day love from The AU Review!

Sound The Sirens said that “Flash Gordon Ramsey Street is concise, to-the-point, and a furious medley of skate punk urgency that is relevant to young adult life as punks in Australia. Great production values to boot mean you can’t go wrong here.

Punk Rock Theory posits that “If you are like me and like your melodic punk rock snotty, urgent, fast, fun and melodic, then ‘Flash Gordon Ramsay Street’ is just the album for you. The Decline have got all of the above in spades. And then some.

Noise Pollution says the experience of listening to the record was “…a manic race on sneakers through the suburb at sundown. I found it satisfying that although they come from the same theme, they do not sound exactly alike. This album is the troublesome adolescence you will never forget. This is the temporary state of being free.”

Both singles ‘Brovine’ and ‘It Was Always You’ received a tonne of love from playlists – managing to kickflip their way into a tonne of Spotify playlists, including Punk Essentials, Skatepark Punks and New Punk tracks, as well as onto triple j’s Short Fast Loud radio playlist!

The Decline’s album release tour hits up Perth on Sunday 29 September at the Rosemount Hotel supporting CJ Ramone), Wednesday 2nd October at Gold Coast’s Vinnie’s Dive, Thursday 03 October at Brisbane’s Crowbar, Friday 4th October in Port Macquarie at Hibbard’s Sports Club, Saturday 5 October in Newcastle at the Hamilton Station Hotel, Sunday 6th October at Central Coast’s Gosford Punk Factory, Monday 7 October in Canberra at Transit Bar supporting Get Dead, Thursday 10th October in Wollongong at The Servo, Friday 11 October at the Sydney Crowbar, Saturday 12 October in Melbourne at The Gasometer, Sunday 13 October at the Crown & Anchor in  Adelaide and back to  Perth to round out the tour with an acoustic performance Saturday 19 October at Lucy’s Love Shack!
